#52 Discussing Real Magick with Joonatan Piir

Today I talk with Joonatan, a visionary, creative, mystic and magician, whose passionate about sharing his explorations and insights from years of deep spiritual and healing practice including altered states of consciousness experiences and working with 'magick' - a western style of inner spiritual practice.Joonatan and I are both equally fascinated by the intersection between spirituality, science and modern psychology and emphasizes a holistic perspective for human well-being and spiritual growth. We spend some time discussing various philosophies surrounding magick, explore some commonly held beliefs while also branching into the idea of how shifting one's consciousness, being the observer of our internal states is itself a kind of magical practice.

Subtopics that arise:

- The historical "splitting" of magick and science

- Rituals and manifestation

- The role of a good teacher

- Corrupt or abusive leadership

- The "war of love" and being a heart-centred warrior

- Men's work and "The Warrior" archetype

- The Wounded Warrior archetype

- Interrupting the "Undoing" Loop

- Spiritual bypassing and authentic spirituality

Joonatan is guiding a ritual magick experience in Vancouver on June 11th called 'Expanded Desire', bringing a very grounded perspective to doing healing and manifestation work, see more here:https://mercury621.wixsite.com/integral-magick/event-details-registration/expanded-desire-a-full-moon-jupiter-magick-workshopFind out more about Joonatan's work here:https://mercury621.wixsite.com/integral-magickEmail for any queries:mercury621@proton.me

Song in the intro- "Light of the Mountain" by Brandon Tilt

I acknowledge that I learn, grow and heal on the unceded ancestral lands of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm , the Katzie, the Stó:lō and the Tseil-Watuth First Nations. These lands were never abandoned nor surrendered by those with the ancestral rights to steward and protect these lands.

I honor and respect the elders, the children, the land stewards, the land protectors, the medicine keepers, and the men and women of all Indigenous nations.

Huy ch q’u (thank you) to those who support the indigenous communities and actively decolonize their minds and spirits.

Aho Mitakuye Oyasin, All my relations.
